Nature is spiritual and cyclical. My art is a reminder of this concept. I find the resemblance of a God at work through nature. The intentionality behind my time spent with nature cleanses my spirit. Being in the mountains, or submerging myself in ice cold creek water are ways for me to connect with a God and shed the trials life presents. Art has become a way for me to awaken feelings that I can’t see. Visualizing what I feel and think is essential to understanding myself, others and life itself. The responsibility and purpose of my art is to connect with myself and others in a way that is universally meaningful.
