Chase      King

Humble Beginnings

Chase was born in the metro-Atlanta Georgia area. He was raised by his mother and maternal grandparents in the city of Woodstock. Only during Chase’s sophomore year at Etowah high school did he discover art. Under the mentorship of Robert Allen Putnam, Chase went on to compete for and eventually win a seat for six weeks at the Governor’s Honors Program for Fine Arts in 2008, hosted by Valdosta State University. After losing his mother to a brain tumor at the age of thirteen, this program could not have been anything less of a god-send. The experience Chase gained motivated him to discover his fullest potential in the fine arts and the like.
