A Cold Lunar Eclipse
Mad and I were about to go to sleep for the night but remembered the cosmic clock was going to remind us of our insignificant, yet curious selves. The shadow of the Earth being cast on the full moon gave it an unusual form. "It looks like a planet, round and full of shape", I said, shortly realizing that it is, indeed a planet...It was too cold to think clearly but I couldn't help but admire the shape and dimension the moon's temporary shape. Right before the moon turned copper red, the sliver of white light began tricking our eyes."Does it look like its moving to you?", Mad asked. I thought it looked like a bouncy ball stalled in the sky. By the end of it all, we warmed up, crawled into bed as if it were any other night. I think a moment that big is like water and sunlight to a seed.
